Challenges of European citizenship 21-27 July 2008 Sofia-Bulgaria

“Sofia, here we come!”. This was what we said on July 21. I don’t remember too much about our departure because I was so exciting, for the fact that I was taking part in that project, so that all I wanted was to arrive faster to the destination-Sofia, Bulgaria. Maybe the project didn’t meet our high expectations (the organization and the food were both awful), but we had the chance to see the capital of Bulgaria, go to the Bulgarian parliament and take part in a conference with the Bulgarian minister for European affairs-Ms Gergana Grancharova (in Hilton hotel), to do shopping in Sofia Mall ;,go out in clubs\:d/ , and to make a lot of friends which I really want to meet again.

About our work:
The activities on the project included a meeting of 60 students from Romania (17-24 years old) --> we were 12 of them :> …
We had to make a declaration which we had to present and discuss about with congressman from Bulgarian parliament’s citizenship.

The project helped us gain new knowledge about the European reality and understand how important media is for this subject.

This project had its downsides, but I would rather remember the positive aspects of this experience... we got our place in the local newspapers, we had a conference in the Hilotn hotel, we presented a declaration to the Bulgarian Parliament and for the first time we had other groups from Romania attending.

intr-adevar a fost un proiect frumos. simplul fapt ca am putut vedea Sofia a meritat toata truda:)) si pana la urma nici proiectul nu a fost tocmai rau. ne-am intalnit cu persoane deosebite pe care in alt context nu am fi putut sa le intalnim. si vorba aia, totul e bine cand se termina cu bine. suntem toti in tara, nuh?)

imi pare bine sa aud ca v-ati distrat:) dar dupa munca si rasplata asa ca merita orice efort:D

aaaa....si am uitat sa precizez, pentru iubitorii genului in special. acea catedrala care apare in filmul Hitman si este prezentata ca fiind in Sankt Petersburg, de fapt este catedrala Aleksandr Nevsky din Sofia. nu ma credeti? Exact asta am spus si eu. Cine are nevoie de mancare o saptamana cand are ocazia sa paseasca in parlament? ) Glumeam. Trebuia sa trecem si printr-un astfel de proiect. Nu toate sunt perfecte, dat toate ofera o serie de experiente utile.

si de care s-ar putea sa ai nevoie....in viata poti da de alte lucruri si mai rele, bine macar ca romanii prin firea lor sunt descurcareti, asa cum ati fost si voi:)

Tocmai de asta am spus ca sunt UTILE. Pentru ca s-ar putea sa ai nevoie de ele.

guys , i need to confess something.... i really miss those nights spent in the lobby and all those moments in which we were looking for a shop to buy some biscuits or water and the funny face the seller made when we were trying to explain that we want milk not water. i won`t ever forget this
and, what i miss the most: staying all together day and night, in fact night and day...anyway, all the time together
