Background information
All participants will have previously participated on the original YEGL training course in Greece (13th – 20th March 2008), organised jointly by “Kids in Action”, Greece and “Youth work Ireland - Galway”, Ireland, who have been co-operating over many years in youth leadership training courses. It was however, through their co-operation in the large scale multilateral youth exchange projects called “Creativity” (www.creativity.gr) that they have commonly identified and agreed on the crucial role that group leaders have to play towards assurance of learning and safety of the young people taking part and thus in their care.

This part of the Programme
Through their acceptance onto, and their participation in the initial Y.E.G.L. training, all participants have agreed to organise / participate as leaders in an international youth exchange between the dates of the initial training and this ‘Consolidation Seminar’. At this seminar we shall share, discuss and learn from each others experiences, as well as listening to and learning through interaction with / from invited expert speakers and facilitators. Such invited speakers shall include:

Vicki Donnelly, Education Officer with the Galway One world Centre
(session on our internalised ‘prejudices’ and how we need to be aware of these, when leading a group)

Gearóid Ó Maolmhichíl, Children’s Officer with the G.A.A. (session on the special arrangements / attention needed around ‘Child protection’ when operating at home or in another country)

Lasa ca oricum, daca ai fi fost mai mic nu ai fi putut participa la proiectele care in ultima vreme cer participanti majori de cele mai multe ori

da stiu norocul meu nu?

Norocul nostru. Eu stiu cat poate fi de frustrant sa afli ca nu poti participa pentru simplul fapt ca esti cu o luna sau doua mai mic decat cere regulamentul. Am patit asta anul trecut cu mai multe proiecte de care eram foarte interesata, asa ca ii inteleg pe cei care sunt acum in aceasta situatie.

irlanda....e departe...daca ati ajuns cu proiectele si pana acolo....ma bucur sincer pt voi... e ceva:) nu multi reusesc sa ajunga pana acolo...marea majoritate se opresc inainte de a realiza ceva...

Multumim. Am intampinat multe obstacole in calea noastra spre recunoasterea internationala a asociatiei (pe cea nationala sau macar locala inca o asteptam), dar asta doar dovedeste inca o data ca nu ne lasam cu una cu doua si ca perseverenta si increderea in fortele proprii sunt atribute care definesc Tineret Buzau 2007. Si promitem sa nu ne oprim aici.
